People feel confused, frustrated, or worse when having to deal with gov’t. Gov’t affairs consultants possess timely knowledge of public sector matters and how to affect them, they are passionate about their work, yet endure periods of idle capacity. No scalable method exists currently to match these parties together in a way that is affordable (for clients) and profitable (for consultants), especially on a short-term, intermittent basis.

As an industry, gov’t affairs consulting is large, growing, but fragmented. Technology can be harnessed to create a marketplace of such consulting services for the masses. People and organizations increasingly are seeking a trusted place where they can go to offer and find these types of services.
